My Present 
Everyting safe? You read that right—that is how people from the Virgin Islands greet one another. Let me introduce myself, I’m LeAnn Morris Pliske and I am an island girl. Born on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, I have dedicated my life to getting people out there on the water-near an island-on a yacht. As a Senior Charter Broker at Northrop & Johnson, I take pride in putting the right guests on the right yacht, enabling them to have an unparalleled experience and vacation.

My Past
I’ve been an avid scuba diver since age 11, spending every weekend and holiday on my family’s boat exploring the British and US Virgin Islands. After graduating from American University in Washington D.C., I worked at the White House under President Clinton and then in NYC as an Account Executive with a large international public relations firm. As wanderlust set in, I went in search of more tropical climates.

Prior to embarking my career as a charter broker, I cruised the waters from Grenada to Corsica, and virtually every port in-between, as a Chief Stewardess on several large motor yachts for five years. Each year, I attend numerous international charter yacht shows with a keen eye, enabling me to provide the best possible guidance to my clients and ensure they find the perfect fit for their yacht holidays. As a mother of two, I understand how valuable family time is and works doggedly to deliver the vacation of a lifetime. I’m extremely passionate about travel and knowledgeable in all destinations, from most frequented to “off the beaten path”. This unique knowledge enables me to maintain the highest level of service for my clients and their experiences.

My Future
I look forward to continuing my pursuit of the best destinations around the world and providing five-star service to my client base.

My Outside-office Life
At the moment, most of my spare time is spent being a taxi driver to 2 teenagers. I love them dearly—but I can’t wait for them to drive! When we aren’t running to baseball tournaments across the U.S., we are in the Bahamas on our boat. We also have 3 rescue pups who are spoiled rotten.
 
Fast Facts 

• I have a travel bucket list that I initially wrote when I was about 14. I’ve added to it over the years. Most recently I’ve ticked off waterfall repelling in Costa Rica. Next up, Cage diving with Great White Sharks in South Africa
• I spend a lot of time in the ocean with Sharks. I am invested in Shark Conservation and Education
• I am happiest on my boat at anchor, in the Out Islands of the Bahamas, at Sunset—most likely with a cocktail in hand
• My dad was an avid Scuba Diver and spearfisherman in the Virgin Islands. He is responsible for my comfort in and love of the ocean
