My Present 
Hi, I’m Jessica Engelmann and I am a Charter Broker at Northrop & Johnson. I’m dedicated to delivering the highest level of service before, during and after the yacht charter process. My commitment is to build strong relationships with clients, providing them with unlimited vacations aboard luxury yachts in the most desirable destinations around the world.I’ve cruised throughout some of the most sought-after charter destinations, including the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Caribbean, The Bahamas, New England, the Galapagos, Australia, and Southeast Asia. I annually attend charter shows around the world, inspecting yachts and meeting with crew, making note of my favorites to share with my customers.

I’m originally from the Midwest, but grew up in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Finance and International Studies. Currently, I reside in Pompano Beachenjoying the year-round sunshine.

My Past
I started with Northrop & Johnson in 2016 and have an extensive background in luxury yachting and international business. Prior to joining Northrop, I worked as professional yacht crew aboard both private and charter superyachts in destinations around the world. Later, I built an extensive international business background with time spent at the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration in Port Everglades, FL, and in international sales with Brunswick Boat Group in Pompano Beach, Florida.

My Future
Making the overall charter process easier for first-timers and seasoned veterans.

My Motto
Don’t be afraid to take risks – I wouldn’t be where I’m at today if I hadn’t taken risks. 

My Outside-office Life
I spend time with my family, friends, and dog, boating, fishing, diving, exploring, and adventuring around South Florida and the world. I’m also an avid US Women’s Soccer fan, foodie and enjoy reading most anything non-fiction or fiction. 

Fast Facts 

• I have a twin sister Kristen, who also works at N&J as a sales broker.
• I have a 23ft center console named “Exuma Blue” (after the beautiful color of the water in The Bahamas), that I captain and take care of myself.
• One of my bucket list items is to sail around the South Pacific in a catamaran.
