This is a FAST TRAWLER! The 2010 57E Marlow Explorer "Eagle Aye" is the perfect combination of fun and elegance. As you step onto the cockpit you will find ample space for entertaining, seating, and storage. Walking into the salon through a set of sturdy aft doors immediately gives you the cozy feel of home with two comfortable chairs to port and a settee to starboard. In this space you will find ample storage throughout, including underneath the settee. As you walk forward and up a couple of steps on the port side, you arrive in the pilothouse. Here you will find a gourmet galley aft, dining area forward to port, a centerline helm, and a set of stairs on the starboard side that lead you down to the 3 staterooms. As you come down these steps and arrive at the landing area of the companionway, you will notice the VIP stateroom forward, guest stateroom on the port side, and the full beam master aft. The master has an en suite head located to port. The VIP and Port guest stateroom share a head located on the starboard side of the companionway. Heading back up to the flybridge level you will notice the Open Flybridge style provides excellent 360° sight line of the vessel. This allows for a great view whether you are cruising or at anchor enjoying a meal al fresco on the dining area of the flybridge deck. “Eagle Aye” is powered by twin C18 diesel engines (1015 hp each) and a single 21kW Onan generator. The Twin Caterpillar C-18 Engines sit on robust stainless wrapped stringers atop soft mounts which greatly reduce vibration contributing to the Marlow Explorer ’s reputation for a “smooth ride.”. Each engine and generator has its own pair of Racor fuel filters for redundancy. There are 2 intake fans and 2 exhaust fans designed to quickly cool down the space after running the vessel. The engine room has standing headroom and has been designed to allow easy access to all equipment. Placing fuel tanks forward of the engine room allows the full beam to be used for upgraded equipment placement. The twin sea chests provide all sea water to the engine room through redundant sea chests that are cross plumbed, as seen in the highest quality mega
yacht builders, commercial ships, and military vessels. Upgraded 21kW Onan generator in custom sound box and mounted forward in the engine room provide sufficient electrical power at sea (the generator will independently carry the entire vessel’s electrical load). The Naiad stabilizer hydraulic system is also found here in the engine room. The fuel tank is located at the vessel’s center of gravity which translates into no requirement of fuel management for trim or ballast, allowing all supply and return valves to remain open unless equipment isolation is desired. Fuel levels can be checked via sight tube mounted up against the fuel tank on the forward part of the engine room where it is easily accessed and viewed.
