Paradise Found in The Abacos Islands | Treasure Cay to Marsh Harbour

Arrive at Treasure Cay Airport, and you’re a mere 10 minutes from the tender that will dart you over to your awaiting charter yacht, anchored in the crystal-clear waters of the Abacos. Recharge with a delectable ‘welcome aboard’ lunch, then throttle up the afternoon with paddleboards, inflatables and other water toys. In the evening, you can dine in style aboard or go ashore to the resort island paradise, Treasure Sands Club.

Weigh anchor and head to No Name Cay, where some friendly pigs will happily greet you. Afterward, rent a golf cart or bicycle, and discover the winsome treasures of Green Turtle Cay. Make sure to visit Miss Emilie’s Blue Bee Bar for a Goombay Smash, the dangerously delicious drink that traces its beginnings on the island. Back aboard for the evening, the beauty of Great Guana Cay will fill your vista at sunset.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Great Guana Cay, where beach-entry diving and snorkeling are some of the best ways to experience the coast. If sportfishing is more your speed, the towed tender is available to spend the day pursuing mahi-mahi, tuna and more. Afterward, grab a seat and a cocktail at Nipper’s Beach Bar & Grill. For sunset, a short walk to nearby Grabber’s offers the best view on the island.

Heading south, your next stop is Hope Town, an original Bahamian settlement situated on the northern end of Elbow Cay. Here you can step ashore for a taste of Bahamian culture and life. Enjoy a splendid lunch at the Hope Town Harbour Lodge or another restaurant. Explore the candy-striped lighthouse and browse in picturesque shops. In the afternoon, tender or golf cart to happy hour at the Firefly Sunset Resort, followed by a memorable dinner onboard. Spend the night at anchor.

Beach day at spectacular Tahiti Beach. You’ll feel like you’re in a dream with stunning light blue, turquoise water and a sugar-sand sandbar lined with swaying coconut trees. Keep an eye out for starfish, sand dollars, and other shells of all shapes and sizes. Sports enthusiasts can try kiteboarding or windsurfing, provided the yacht has the gear onboard. Enjoy rose all day or other cold beverages of your choice. For lunch, enjoy a delightful feast prepared by the Chef. In the late afternoon, head back to the yacht for relaxing and dinner aboard.

Early risers can try their hand at offshore fishing at Cherokee, chock full of mahi-mahi.
