My Present Hello, I am Karen Alekyan and I am from Yerevan, Armenia. I am currently working as a sales broker with responsibilities that involve expanding my customer base and selling boats. I thoroughly enjoy my work as it provides me with the opportunity to meet new people daily, listen to their life stories, and engage in enriching conversations. My work demands a high level of competence as my primary challenge is to ensure that I am capable of satisfying all my client's needs in a timely and efficient manner. Any failure on my part can have serious repercussions on the sales process.
My Past My formative years were spent in Yerevan, where I received my education with a focus on history and legal law. I was always passionate about physical activity and engaged in various pursuits, including wrestling, track and field, and bodybuilding. At the age of 15, I moved to France alone, where I settled in Ardèche and began my journey of learning the French language while pursuing my education. I successfully completed my baccalaureate and later enrolled in a BTS program in Business Unit Management, which I had to put on hold after volunteering for the Foreign Legion due to health issues.
After my stint with the Foreign Legion, I took on a factory job for four months, which I found unfulfilling. Seeking a more challenging and fulfilling career path, I transitioned to a sales position. Throughout my journey, I have consistently pursued personal and professional development by acquiring new skills, including language proficiency (I can speak four languages), psychology, philosophy, history, science, and honing my talents in music, sports (such as dance and horse riding), and reading.
My desire for a change of environment and my fluency in English and Russian led me to the French Riviera, where I was captivated by the yachts industry's technical and aesthetic aspects. My passion for yachts inspired me to acquire the necessary commercial skills and led me to work in the industry. Over time, I have learned through trial and error, and my quest for perfectionism and idealism has propelled me to join an international company that can help me develop my abilities and maximize my potential.
My Future After a careful analysis of several industry players, I have decided to join Northrop & Johnson due to their exceptional philosophy and rigorous approach. I am eager to push myself beyond my limits, enhance my efficiency, and contribute to the construction and refit of large boats. My time with Northrop & Johnson will be a significant milestone in my professional journey, and I look forward to what the future holds.
My Motto Carpe Diem
