Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Cambry Czuplak and I am a Charter Broker with Northrop & Johnson. I create bespoke yacht charter vacations for discerning clients around the world. As a keen traveler myself, I get excited when clients are wanting to discover a new part of the world onboard a yacht. I work very closely with my clients to obtain a clear picture of the type of charter they envision and make sure to match the perfect yacht, crew and destination with their ideal charter vacation. As each charter is tailored-made and unique, it’s important to listen to my clients wishes and build a close relationship in order to achieve their dream charter. Often, first-time charterers understandably have many questions. By hand-holding my clients through the process, being available and communicating frequently, the journey to one of the most luxurious vacations you will ever embark on is seamless and will undoubtedly create a lifetime of memories!
My career in the yachting world spans over the past 20 years, far beyond what I ever imagined when I was taking a semester off university from studying Nursing! Having worked as a Stewardess on a privately owned yacht, to becoming Azimut Product Manager, US Marketing Manager for Sanlorenzo Yachts and later Account Director for the prestigious magazine Boat International Media, I have touched every facet of the industry and gained a diverse understanding of all things ‘yachting’. It was natural that becoming a Charter Broker was my career trajectory as it combined my curiosity in meeting people with my love of travel, knowledge, and network in the yachting world. A perfect marriage!
As more countries are opening up to yacht charters and yachts are going farther afield, it’s important that I continue to widen my scope of knowledge in these areas and the yachts that will venture there. Costa Rica, Galapagos, Thailand and Norway are some of the less chartered destinations that are seeing an increase in yacht charters in recent years. I will continue to travel to the popular destinations in Greece, Italy, Croatia etc in order to speak with my clients from an authentic point of reference, but will also continue to research, study and travel to the other far-flung destinations to gain a true understanding of chartering there. This insider knowledge is important when mapping out itineraries for my clients, whether you’re looking for the secluded rural beach bar in Thailand, hot spot restaurant in the Amalfi coast or the best spot for whale watching in Costa Rica, my on the ground knowledge will better serve you! In addition, it’s incredibly important that I continue to attend all of the major Yacht Charter shows globally, inspect the yachts, engage with the crew and enjoy some of their Chef’s tastings. It’s through these personal interactions that I can recommend the best yachts, crew and chefs to you.
My Outside-office Life
I’m at my happiest casually sitting around a table with family and friends, delicious food and excellent wine (laughter NOT optional). Otherwise, yoga, walks with my dogs and my newfound hobby of gardening have become my Zen.
I have two teenage children that keep my on my toes and up to date with the best memes of the day. My husband is a Yacht Charter Captain and is my secret weapon with any fuel or technical questions! We’ve all traveled together extensively and have lived in Miami, Barcelona and Oxford, England!
