My Present
Hi, my name is Nicole Pope. As a Charter Marketing Manager at Northrop & Johnson, I have the privilege of being part of a stellar Yacht Charter division that is on a constant quest to redefine industry standards. I began as a Charter Assistant, and my diligence and steadfast, unwavering discipline to my craft has allowed me to advance my career to new heights. I am ecstatic to be part of such a dynamic, forward-thinking and people-oriented company.
My Past
I was born in Germany to South African parents and lived in four different countries by the time I was ten. You could say that I discovered my “globe-trotting” ways before I knew how to walk or write. After attending Stellenbosch University near Cape Town, South Africa, I joined the yachting industry. I spent four years at sea, traveling The Bahamas and the Eastern and Western Mediterranean as part of the interior crew. I have worked on charter and private yachts and various yacht builds, allowing me to experience many of the most sought-after yachting destinations and work with many different personalities and people from all walks of life. This unique experience gives me a distinct understanding of the intricate ins and outs of the charter world and yacht charter process. I am lucky to be able to draw on my experiences every day in my life, making me a more vital asset to my company and the clients I represent.

To continue growing as a professional, further cultivating my fleet and relationships, and making a positive, impactful difference at Northrop & Johnson.

My Outside-office Life
I spend time with my beautiful daughter Rebel Anastasia and my husband Chris and try to wrangle my three siblings from all corners of the world to one destination for family reunions. You may also find me at the local Orange Theory Fitness studio.
