Northrop & Johnson Welcomes Batuhan Tarim as Yacht Broker and New Construction Specialist in Monaco

Northrop & Johnson is excited to announce the addition of Batuhan Tarim to its team as a Yacht Broker and New Construction Specialist. Based in Monaco, Batuhan brings extensive experience in superyacht sales and new builds, with a strong background in both GRP and steel/aluminum construction. Fluent in English, Turkish, Italian, and French, he offers a truly international approach to serving clients around the globe.

Batuhan joins Northrop & Johnson following more than six years with Benetti Yachts in Livorno, where he rose to the role of Area Sales Manager for Europe. During his tenure, he was deeply involved in all aspects of the new build process, from design and technical meetings to contractual negotiations and final delivery. This hands-on experience, paired with his in-depth knowledge of Benetti’s world-class fleet from 30 meters to over 100 meters, has given him a meticulous, client-first perspective that continues to define his work today.

After earning a BSc in Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, he pursued a Master’s in International Management at Bocconi University in Milan, followed by a Master’s in Yacht Design at Politecnico di Milano. This combination of technical expertise and business insight positions him to guide clients seamlessly through the purchase, sale, and construction of their yachts.
