Philip was recognized for his contributions to environmental and marine conservation at the SeaKeepers Society’s Celebration, which celebrated its 20th year during the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Philip’s passion for the environment sent him to Ghana for six months where he helped build infrastructure in the desert, elephant hides at big game reserves and worked on eco-tourism projects in the rainforest. In addition, Philip is a supporter of marine conservation and research.

“I am honored to receive this award,” says Philip Bell. “I have a deep-seated passion for protecting the environment and our oceans. This is an area that I feel strongly about; I will continue to support it as well as educate others.”

The SeaKeepers 20th Anniversary Founders Dinner was held on November 1 at lovely private Fort Lauderdale residence and welcomed supporters, industry professionals and sponsors for an evening of appreciation. The International SeaKeeper Society promotes marine research, conservation and educational outreach with the direct involvement of the yachting community. They believe in “research, educate, protect and restore.”

Northrop & Johnson is proud of Philip’s conversation accomplishments and supports him in all his continued efforts.
