Northrop & Johnson Opens European Flagship Office in Antibes

Posted February 15, 2019 in Company by Morgan Crowe

At the helm of the mainland European operation are Managing Director for France, Jonathan Browne and Charter Director Fiona Maureso.

Jonathan comes to us after a seven-year tenure at the helm of Power To Sail, also based in Antibes. Previously, he held senior positions with other brokerage houses and manufacturers, such as Custom Line, Ferretti, Pershing, Azimut and Riva. Jonathan is bilingual, speaking both English and French.

Fiona Maureso has worked with Northrop & Johnson since January 2013. She has more than 25 years of experience as both yacht crew and a charter broker. During her time at Northrop & Johnson, she has expanded the company’s presence in the South of France and Europe. Fiona also currently serves as President of MYBA — the Worldwide Yachting Association, and chairs the IT panel. Fiona also is fluent in English and French.

Northrop & Johnson also is delighted to welcome Joanna Long as office manager and berth sales specialist in our Antibes office.

The stunning new office offers a sleek and comfortable space for brokers and clients alike. Both aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally functional, the interior design promotes a creative and efficient atmosphere. Clean lines and modern furniture combine perfectly with state-of-the-art equipment, offering our sales and charter brokers, charter managers and crew placement staff all of the tools necessary for success.

“We are extremely excited to open a flagship office in Antibes and continue our international expansion,” says Northrop & Johnson CEO Kevin Merrigan. “Yachting is a global industry and our Antibes office will allow us to offer even better service to our clients in the Med and throughout Europe.”
