Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the new listing of VERTIGO, a 70’ (21.34m) Lydia Convertible Sportfisher, offered for sale with Robert Petrina. Priced at $2,450,000, VERTIGO will be on display with Northrop & Johnson at the 2026 Newport Beach International Boat Show, April 16–19.

Built in 1993 as a dedicated fishing machine, VERTIGO has been extensively upgraded to deliver modern capability alongside her proven performance. With a cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 34 knots, she offers the speed and agility expected of a tournament-caliber sportfisher, further enhanced by Zero Speed Stabilizers, sonar, a bow thruster, and a fully updated glass screen helm.

A three-year refit completed in 2019 at Newport Harbor Shipyard transformed the yacht, including a complete interior remodel, new exterior paint, and comprehensive mechanical and electronics upgrades. Today, her interior presents a clean, modern aesthetic balanced with practical sportfish functionality, featuring a bright salon with custom woodwork and marble accents, along with a fully equipped galley fitted with premium appliances.

VERTIGO accommodates up to eight guests across four staterooms, including a full-beam master and well-appointed VIP, complemented by flexible guest cabins.

The cockpit is fully equipped for serious fishing, offering mezzanine seating, a custom bait system with tuna tubes, tackle center, and teak finishes throughout. The flybridge is equally well-appointed with advanced navigation systems and direct tower access, while the foredeck carries a tender supported by a Steelhead davit.

With dual new generators installed in December 2025 and a full suite of fishing equipment, including a massive tower with hydraulic outriggers, VERTIGO represents a thoroughly upgraded platform ready for immediate use.
