SILVER LINING 164’ (50m) Christensen Yacht for Sale
Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce that the 164’ (50m) Christensen SILVER LINING is now offered for sale with yacht brokers Wes Sanford, Sean Doyle and Mike Finnegan, asking $27,950,000. She will be available for viewings with Northrop & Johnson during the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28 to November 1.
A defining feature of SILVER LINING is her exceptional interior volume. Launched in 2016 as a 2017 model, she remains Christensen’s largest delivery by volume at 570 GT, exceeding the shipyard’s standard 499 GT by 14%. Her six-stateroom configuration, including a full-beam main-deck master and full-beam VIP, accommodates up to 16 guests privately or 12 under charter, with quarters for 11 crew. An elevator serving all decks, a full-beam skylounge and a sundeck equipped for touch-and-go helicopter operations further distinguish her layout.
The yacht’s introduction to the market follows an extensive $1.3 million investment in 2026, covering her 10-year ABS Special Survey and comprehensive refit. Hauled out for three months at Lauderdale Marine Center, SILVER LINING received detailed structural and mechanical inspections, alongside significant maintenance and upgrades. The scope included rebuilding her stabilizers, overhauling the running gear, renewing all through-hull valves, replacing engine mounts and shaft couplings, and realigning the engines. Additional work addressed tank inspections, bottom coatings and engine room systems.
Beyond her technical credentials, SILVER LINING features an interior by Kimberly Graham, finished in high-gloss Black Walnut and marble. Her main salon seats 12 for formal dining, while the full-beam skylounge includes an onyx-topped bar and additional entertaining space. The exterior arrangement provides covered alfresco dining on the bridge deck, an eight-person Jacuzzi and extensive sundeck seating. Her twin commercial-rated MTU engines deliver a maximum speed of 16 knots, with a 4,000-nautical-mile range at nine knots.
“You simply can’t build another SILVER LINING,” shares yacht broker Wes Sanford. “At 570 GT, she has the volume of a much larger yacht, with an elevator to every deck, a helicopter-capable sundeck and a freshly completed 10-year ABS survey. For a buyer, that combination is very hard to find at any price.”
SILVER LINING offers buyers an ABS-classed, American-built composite motor yacht with substantial volume, established technical capabilities and the flexibility for both private ownership and charter use.
