Since her launch, PALIADOR has been meticulously maintained by multiple dedicated owners, who both enjoyed years of voyaging to many of the world’s remote destinations. She has benefitted from multiple refits, most notably in 2013, 2017 and 2020. Her most recent refit included a complete rig rebuild with all components disassembled, fully serviced and repainted. All standing rigging was replaced and her topsides were sanded, faired and painted with Awlgrip. At the Lessee’s expense, all deck and superstructure were repainted with Awlgrip and all exterior teak trim was stripped, sanded and refinished to perfection. In short, PALIADOR is a magnificent home on the water, well proven for extended ocean voyaging, fast and easy to handle with a small crew, and turnkey ready for many more ocean miles.
Traditional varnished cherry joiner work accented by fabric panels and maple cabin soles adorn her interior. PALIADOR’s most striking interior feature is the huge sense of volume as the cockpit adjoins the pilothouse and the salon. Guests will feel right at home in complete comfort when spending time onboard. Her pilothouse is spacious and boasts uninterrupted 360-degree views. Forward and down a few steps from the pilothouse are the main salon, which is open to the forward-facing windshields above, creating an open skylight effect. Comfortable lounge seating is to port with a flat-screen TV forward that drops down and opens up to the galley for casual serving or breakfast at the counter using two bar stools. To starboard are an additional L-settee aft and a fully equipped bar forward with a wine cooler, ice maker and sink, along with two leather bar stools. Numerous end tables and lockers provide exceptional customized storage for glasses, dinnerware and other items. A passageway leads aft and down a few steps to the guest accommodations.
The yacht welcomes eight guests in four cabins, including a spacious owner’s stateroom with private deck access, a port guest cabin with twin berths, a starboard guest cabin with twin berths and a Pullman and an additional cabin with a single berth. PALIADOR’S profile and exterior styling are best described as simply elegant. Her low profile raised pilothouse, relatively low freeboard, sculpted transom and bow overhang cut an elegant, classic profile that turns heads in every port of call. Her exterior guest spaces make enjoying alfresco living a breeze, be it lounging on the cushioned settee or dining at the U-shaped seating area in the cockpit.
