Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the in-house sale of the 115′ (35.05m) Christensen motor yacht OCEAN PEARL by Yacht Brokers Graham Rutherford and Paul Daubner. She was sold after being on the market for less than 60 days. Her last asking price was $2,900,000.
Since her 1988 delivery from the renowned Christensen shipyard, OCEAN PEARL has continued to impress. She has undergone many modernizations and boasts designs courtesy of Glade Johnson. OCEAN PEARL’s traditional charm, exceptional build quality and vast exterior spaces contributed to her recognition as Mega Yacht of the Year in 2007.
OCEAN PEARL is timeless beauty at its finest. Her interior design was penned by Mary Roberts, showcasing an elegant and welcoming atmosphere with mahogany panels and trim. Her main salon is encircled by windows offering the perfect amount of natural light. Her salon can be accessed from the California deck and is the ideal locale for guests to gather. Her country-kitchen style galley is complete with an L-shaped settee dining area and large opening windows.
Eleven guests are welcome in OCEAN PEARL’s four beautifully-appointed staterooms. The owner’s suite features a centerline king-sized bed and an impressive en-suite bathroom with a redwood infrared sauna. Her further accommodations comprise a VIP queen-bed cabin, a guest cabin with a queen-size berth plus a Pullman and a cabin with two twin bunks and two Pullmans.
OCEAN PEARL’s generous deck spaces offer plenty of areas centered around alfresco dining and entertainment. Her cockpit is ideal for fishing, entertaining and sunbathing, and her California deck is fully protected with a removable Isinglass enclosure and plexiglass doors. The yacht’s flybridge offers three steering stations for optimal visibility. Plenty of seating, a hot tub and a full-service bar are also located in this space, making it the social hub of the yacht. A large sunpad and cushioned bow seat on the foredeck make up another comfortable gathering area for whale watching, sunbathing or enjoying an evening cocktail.
