N&J PARTNER OCEAN KING LAUNCHES LATEST DOGE 400 EXPLORER

As the exclusive representative for the Ocean King line of yachts, Northrop & Johnson is excited to announce the launch of OCEAN ANGEL, the second build in Ocean King’s bold DOGE 400 series. This 40-meter explorer yacht confidently reaffirms the yard’s vision on the global superyacht stage.

With exterior lines sculpted by the design innovators at aLOT, OCEAN ANGEL is all about presence: clean, elegant lines meet serious volume and capability. The interiors, designed by BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design, are a tailored response to the owner’s vision—Italian artistry through and through, with a strong sense of flow, harmony, and personality.

At her core, OCEAN ANGEL is a rugged world cruiser: a full-displacement steel hull paired with a lightweight aluminum superstructure. She’s ocean-ready, long-range, and engineered to commercial ship standards—designed to go the distance in total safety and comfort.

With a range of 4,000 nautical miles, this DOGE 400 is as capable as she is composed. The technical spaces—thoughtfully laid out and packed with premium equipment—support total autonomy for extended cruising, no matter how far off the grid you venture.

Across three decks, OCEAN ANGEL blends power and poise. Her silhouette is commanding yet refined. Inside, minimalist design prevails. The yacht’s full-height windows flood the interiors with natural light, creating seamless transitions between indoor calm and the wide-open sea.

Her beach club is a sanctuary with a sauna, hammam, and gym. A 1.2-ton telescopic crane cleverly hidden in the ceiling transforms into a utility zone capable of launching a 6.25m tender, and fold-down sea terraces provide instant access to the water.

With accommodation for 10 guests across five suites and dedicated quarters for seven crew, OCEAN ANGEL is designed for effortless service and serious comfort. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she reaches a top speed of 15 knots, with an easy cruising speed of 13.

Now starting sea trials, OCEAN ANGEL is nearly ready for handover. She will be on display at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
