Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 70′ (21.34m) Viking sportfisher MOONDANCER by Yacht Broker Paul Daubner, acting on behalf of the buyer and seller. The yacht was last asking $2,950,000.

Built in 2011, MOONDANCER is fully equipped for extensive tournament fishing and boasts a range of state-of-the-art features that enhance both functionality and comfort. Her equipment includes a Sea Recovery Aqua Matic freshwater maker, a Side-Power electric bow thruster, an Electro-Hydraulic Rudder (VIPER) steering system, a Sea Keeper Gyro Stabilizer and a Cruisair air conditioning system, providing optimal comfort during long expeditions.

A sliding door leads to MOONDANCER’s interior. Inside, her main salon is fitted with luxurious furnishings, custom window treatments, valances and elegant overhead LED lighting. The salon also features an enclosed electrical control panel and a day head. Comfortable seating arrangements, including an L-shaped sofa, U-shaped sofa, and an aft-facing sofa, provide a cozy atmosphere. Multiple cabinets and a TV lift cabinet complete the salon’s amenities.

MOONDANCER accommodates up to eight guests in four staterooms. The master stateroom, forward of the galley and main salon, features a queen-sized bed with ample storage space. The en-suite master head is equipped with high-quality fixtures and a shower. Additional guest staterooms include double bunks, island beds, and en-suite bathrooms, providing a comfortable retreat for all on board.

MOONDANCER showcases Viking’s commitment to craftsmanship and design. Her raked stem and generous freeboard forward ensure a smooth ride in challenging offshore conditions. The 208-square-foot cockpit features an observation mezzanine, ample stowage, freezers, and refrigerated drink boxes, while the lower cockpit provides a spacious fish box and stowage compartments. The tournament-proven center console helm on the flying bridge delivers excellent visibility in all directions. The vessel’s refined running surface with a convex deadrise shape ensures stability, seakeeping ability and a comfortable dry ride.
