Northrop & Johnson is proud to announce the sale of the 127-foot (38.8m) sailing superyacht MIA CARA by Yacht Broker Bill Titus, acting on behalf of the seller. The yacht was listed with Northrop & Johnson for less than a year before her sale.
Sailing yacht MIA CARA was launched in 2006 by Fitzroy yachts. Powerful, welcoming and sophisticated, this impressive yacht is ideally suited for day cruising or world exploration. She features exterior design by Dubois Naval Architects and interior styling by Redman Whitley Dixon Ltd. The yacht was designed to provide a high level of both safety and performance. MIA CARA features a timeless aesthetic and has benefitted from numerous upgrades and updates in recent years, including tender, sails, main engine and generator overhauls.
The interior of MIA CARA is accessed via retractable sliding glass doors. The salon is large and spacious with the added benefit of an abundance of windows that provide nearly 360-degree panoramic views. English walnut is used throughout to create a rich, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy meals in the salon at a large dining table that welcomes all. Forward is a navigation station that can quickly be transformed into a buffet with the push of a button. MIA CARA’s upper salon is outfitted with a wet bar while the lower section features lounge seating. The yacht’s galley is well equipped for long-range voyaging if so desired.
Four staterooms welcome up to 10 guests aboard MIA CARA. These include a master with a king bed, a VIP, one double and one twin. All staterooms aboard the yacht have en-suite bathrooms. MIA CARA runs with a crew of six.
The uncluttered deck spaces of MIA CARA ensure she has lots of room for relaxing and watching the waves and wind while under sail. The yacht’s built-in deck salon is perfect for lounging or dining and her drop-down swim platform sets the perfect stage for diving into the water.
