Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the sale of LUCKY MARLIN, a 55′ (16.76m) 1986 Ocean Yachts convertible sportfisherman, with Robert Petrina representing both the buyer and the seller. The yacht was last asking $269,000.
Built by Ocean Yachts, a shipyard founded in 1977 with a reputation for quality and reliability in the semi-custom market, LUCKY MARLIN reflects a strong commitment to the sportfishing lifestyle.
Inside, LUCKY MARLIN features three large staterooms, each with en-suite heads and showers, accommodating up to six guests, along with a spacious salon with a custom leather couch, teak table, and ample storage. Her galley is equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator and freezer, generous storage, and recent upgrades, including new appliances, granite countertops, plush carpet, and custom wall coverings.
Outdoors, she showcases the clean lines of a convertible sportfisherman with varnished wood accents along the toe rail. The flybridge offers comfortable seating, two custom helm chairs, modern electronics, and air conditioning, while the massive cockpit features a custom bait tank, leaning post, rod holders, outriggers, and a new teak swim step. Additional features include a foredeck with space for a tender, davit, and custom bow bait tank, as well as recent upgrades such as a freshly painted cockpit and foredeck, new isinglass, and major underwater and mechanical refreshments with low hours on rebuilt main engines.
