Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 147′ (44.81m) Cheoy Lee motor yacht DOROTHEA III by Yacht Broker Joe Foggia, acting on behalf of the buyer. The yacht was last asking $13,450,000.

The 2007 Cheoy Lee DOROTHEA III is a classic expedition yacht that has been beautifully maintained since her launch. In 2021, she underwent an extensive refit which brought a complete exterior repaint, installation of three new generators and an interior décor refresh, among other upgrades. She is an exceptionally seaworthy yacht with generous guest accommodations and impressive volume.

DOROTHEA III showcases a contemporary interior design with plenty of dark wood detailing combined with light-colored furnishings. Her main salon is welcoming and spacious, with large windows that allow an influx of natural light. The yacht comfortably accommodates nine guests in five staterooms, one having been converted into a gym. She features the ultimate private owner’s deck with a king-size stateroom, en-suite bathroom and dedicated sitting room on the bridge deck.

DOROTHEA III’s additional guest accommodations include a VIP cabin with a king-size bed, a seating area with a sofa, a vanity and hanging lockers for storage. The two large port lights allow a flow of natural light and the cabin is finished with beautiful oak trim work and off-white wool carpeting. The port and starboard guest cabins are forward on the lower deck, the port cabin featuring a king-size bed while the starboard cabin offers twin berths. DOROTHEA III’s crew spaces welcome up to nine crewmembers ad were designed by Ron Holland and finished to resemble a classic sailing yacht.

The Cheoy Lee’s exterior spaces offer many alfresco dining and entertainment opportunities. From sunbathing on the sundeck to enjoying a casual alfresco meal on the aft deck, she promises endless hours of enjoyment for all guests onboard.
