Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of Canada’s largest custom new-build luxury yacht, the 164-foot (50m) Crescent DANZANTE BAY. The project was brokered by Northrop & Johnson Sales Brokers Paul Daubner and Steve Elario.

Designed by Gregory C. Marshall, DANZANTE BAY is currently under construction at Crescent Custom Yachts in Richmond, British Columbia. The North American yacht builder has been producing luxury yachts larger than 100 feet since 1986; DANZANTE BAY is the builder’s and country’s largest luxury yacht to date.

“Working diligently with our experienced client for more than two years, it was apparent to both Steve and me that the yacht of his dreams was not available on the global brokerage market,” says Sales Broker Paul Daubner. “As such, after careful consideration and negotiations, we are thrilled to help realize this client’s dream of the perfect, bespoke superyacht. Both Steve and I were reminded through this process that it’s not always the quick answer that gets the best results. The team at Crescent is excellent, highly skilled and ideally suited to build this exceedingly custom luxury yacht for such a discerning client.”

DANZANTE BAY’s will offer six staterooms for up to 12 guests and will carry 10 crew; the yacht has five staterooms to accommodate crewmembers. Her hull and superstructure will be completed in vacuum-infused composite. DANZANTE BAY’s max speed will be 16 knots; she will cruise at 12 knots and will have an impressive range of 4,000 nautical miles. Superyacht DANZANTE BAY will be ABS, MCA and LY2 compliant. A delivery date has not yet been set.
