AVENTURER 85’ (25.91m) Jongert Now Asking $1,495,000

Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce a $300,000 price reduction on the 85’ (25.91m) Jongert motor yacht AVENTURER, now asking $1,495,000. Listed with yacht brokers Whit Kirtland and Kristen Klein, she is offered under a three-year lease-to-own structure with zero interest, presenting a unique pathway to ownership.

AVENTURER is a timeless Dutch beauty and has benefitted from a level of care and craftsmanship rarely seen on yachts today; more than 40,000 man-hours have been dedicated to her interior alone. She was built in 1986 to German Lloyds classification, with steel-and-aluminum construction and an impressive ocean-crossing track record.

A defining feature of AVENTURER is her transformation through a $2 million refit completed in 2021, bringing a fresh feel while preserving her classic lines. She is finished in a Flag Blue hull repaint (2020) and has benefitted from ongoing technical care, including bottom coatings renewed in 2023 and November 2024, major Caterpillar service in March 2024, and a hull ultrasound confirming excellent steel condition in early 2024.

The main salon and galley have been reimagined with custom finishes. The galley is fully equipped with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and practical upgrades including a custom stainless XL sink and privacy panel for discreet service. She accommodates 10 guests in four staterooms, along with separate crew quarters and a media room that converts to a queen berth, creating flexibility for both private use and charter.

The aft deck features a wet bar and custom teak dining table for 12, complemented by a day head tucked beneath the stairwell. The flybridge is a second social hub with four helm chairs, Garmin nav electronics, custom teak helm pod, built-in lounges, a grill station, along with a 20-foot tender deck with a 2,000-lb davit for extended cruising.

AVENTURER is equipped with two Caterpillar 3306 BTA diesel engines (250 HP each), twin Northern Lights generators (33KW and 15KW), a Sea Recovery 80 GPH watermaker, and six Mastervolt AGM batteries. Her 3,000nm range, redundant systems, and walk-in engine room place her in the category of capable long-range cruisers.
