Designed by the iconic German Frers and built by Cookson Boats in Auckland, SORCERER II blends elite racing pedigree with proven global range and an incredible legacy of ocean exploration. As the former flagship of genome scientist Craig Venter’s Global Ocean Sampling Expedition, she has circumnavigated the world, logging thousands of nautical miles through 23 countries and four continents.

With a lightweight composite hull, carbon fiber mast, and a powerful sail plan managed by in-boom furling, hydraulic winches, and advanced sail-handling systems, SORCERER II offers exhilarating performance and easy control, even with a small crew. She’s race-ready, world-cruising capable, and built for the bold.
Below deck, she welcomes up to eight guests in three staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with a king berth and en-suite head featuring a full-size tub and shower. Convertible guest cabins, Pullman berths, and en-suite heads offer versatile, family-friendly layouts. Her raised main salon delivers wraparound views, elegant dining for six, and a well-stocked wet bar, while the lower salon offers a cozy library and entertainment area.

On deck, SORCERER II’s dual cockpits invite outdoor living. A shaded aft cockpit includes a scuba filling station, and a private companionway offers direct access to the owner’s suite. Forward, guests enjoy cushioned seating under a dodger and Bimini.

Having undergone a series of thoughtful upgrades, SORCERER II is in outstanding condition. Her topsides were repainted in 2023, and her 2024 refit includes new salon covers, fresh canvas, fitted carpets, and galley appliances. Her mast and boom have been refinished, and she’s equipped with North 3DI sails, serviced running gear, and Lithium Iron Phosphate battery conversion in progress, enhancing efficiency for the future.
