The 70’ (21.49m) sailing yacht RUNAWAY is now for sale with Yacht Brokers Jim Elliott and Todd Rittenhouse. The luxury sailing yacht is asking $360,000. 

Delivered in 1995 by Dencho Marine with extensive upgrades in 2000, 2001, 2017 and 2019, RUNAWAY is a classic sailing yacht built for life on the water. The yacht’s polished and aerodynamic exterior design is courtesy of Alan Andrews. The sailing yacht is a Custom 70 turbo, making her the ultimate choice for performance sailing. She has won awards in the Transpacific Yacht Race to Hawaii, The Pacific Cup Yacht Race to Hawaii and the San Diego to Puerto Vallarta Race. Additionally, she won “Line Honors” and in 2017 placed second overall in the Cape Town to Rio Race. RUNAWAY’s history of placing in a number of races around the world proves her capabilities. 

The sailing yacht’s spacious, open cockpit features a seating area for guests to utilize. The entrance to the lower deck is midship. RUNAWAY’s galley is located aft of the steps to starboard and is complete with everything you need in a luxury sailing yacht. To port are 12 crew storage lockers and just aft of the lockers is a deck and chair. 

Midship is the full navigation station with a desk and seating. Forward is the enclosed bathroom and shower. The foredeck is intended for racing and received a fresh coat of non-skid in 2017 to ensure optimal stability. The yacht was also refitted with new sails, halyards, running rigging and upgraded B&G instruments and electronics. In 2000 and 2001, she underwent extensive alterations to now and stern sections. 12 guests can be accommodated aboard RUNAWAY in 12 adjustable pipe berths.
