Posted February 12, 2026 in Brokerage & New Build

Northrop & Johnson announces the successful sale of OCEAN FALCON, the 229’ (70m) Astilleros Zamakona S.A. explorer yacht, represented by yacht brokers Kevin Merrigan and Kristen Klein. The yacht was last asking €14,950,000.

Originally built as a commercial rescue ship, OCEAN FALCON’s origins provide a robust foundation for long-range operations, positioning her as a highly adaptable platform for private exploration, research-focused programs, or future charter conversion.

Engineered for extended voyages, OCEAN FALCON cruises at 12.5 knots with a top speed of 15 knots. Her steel hull delivers the strength and stability required for long-range expeditions, including operations in remote and challenging environments such as the Arctic or the South Pacific. The vessel’s size, massive 2,950 GT volume, and construction provide a proven platform, capable of supporting demanding operational opportunities.

Defined by substantial internal volume and expedition-grade construction, OCEAN FALCON stands as a highly capable explorer platform engineered for extended global operations and bespoke program development.

“OCEAN FALCON is a remarkable platform,” notes yacht broker Kevin Merrigan. “Safe, spacious and robust. We hope to see her in challenging and exotic locations around the world.”
