Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the sale of the 106’ (32m) motor yacht STONEFACE, with Yacht Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Kristen Klein representing the seller. Capt. Andrea Gaines, CPYB of Essex Boat Works, LLC represented the buyer. The yacht was last asking $2,450,000.

Delivered in 1978 by Burger Boat Company, STONEFACE is a custom aluminium motor yacht designed by Jack Hargrave. She blends classic American pedigree with the confidence of a comprehensive modernization, having benefited from an extensive 2011–2012 refit at Front Street Shipyard that brought her systems and onboard comfort to a highly turnkey standard.

Designed as a long-range displacement cruiser, her refit scope included the installation of CAT C18 Acert DITA engines, Caterpillar generators, Naiad stabilizers, a complete rewire with new electrical panels, and fully modernized navigation and communications systems. Further work included new teak decks, along with updated crew areas including a new galley and crew mess. She cruises comfortably at 12.5 knots and reaches a top speed of 14.5 knots.

Inside, STONEFACE showcases a timeless, yacht-traditional atmosphere with warm butternut walnut joinery and a bright main salon framed by six large windows. Forward, a private formal dining area for six is complemented by custom cabinetry, while the full-beam galley is fitted for professional use with stainless steel countertops and premium appliances. Accommodation is arranged for up to eight guests in a three-cabin layout, including a full-beam master suite aft with a king-size bed and generous natural light.

Two identical twin guest cabins forward each feature Pullman berths and en-suite bathrooms for flexible family-friendly capacity. Crew quarters accommodate up to five and are positioned forward with a large crew mess, laundry and direct access to the engine room, supporting extended cruising.

Outdoor living is centered around the enclosed aft deck with dining for six, built-in seating, air conditioning and twin service bars, with sliding windows on both port and starboard sides for open-air enjoyment. A spacious pilothouse, walkaround side decks and a generous swim platform complete a highly practical, seakindly platform that reflects Burger’s enduring craftsmanship.
