This  watch plays tribute to the horse — one of the most majestic animals to have a such profound relationship with humans. Throughout the centuries, humans and horses have engaged in historical battles, elite competitions and many journeys together; these imposing creatures have been true allies through it all.

The Hourstriker Horse has hand-carved Jaquemarts on a genuine black onyx dial available in either an 18k rose gold or a platinum case, each of which measures 43mm in diameter. The horses have been carefully sculpted in 18k gold with impressive realistic facial features and well-proportioned silhouettes.

Another unique facet of the Hourstriker Horse is that it chimes every hour or half-hour, depending on the chosen settings, or can be set to “gong” the time in passing.

The Hourstriker Horse has a scratchproof, anti-reflective sapphire crystal back and front. The self-winding movement has a power reserve of 42 hours and is resistant to 30 meters under water.

Ulysse Nardin is one of the few high-end watchmakers to produce timepieces with jaquemarts. It has been greatly recognized for its musical and motion watches, making the Hourstriker Horse a true statement to its legacy.
