The Swiss watchmaking brand Richard Mille expanded its network of boutiques in the United States to nine locations with the opening of its first boutique in Texas, located at Highland Park Village in Dallas. The two-story showroom becomes the largest Richard Mille boutique in the country, and the first example of the company’s discreetly elegant design concept in the Americas.

The boutique occupies a prominent location within the open-air luxury retail destination Highland Park Village. Highland Park Village’s Spanish-style buildings are home to international luxury boutiques and acclaimed restaurants. The 5,275-square-foot Richard Mille Dallas boutique features seven distinct zones across two floors. The ground-level lobby—the only room visible from the street—provides a warm welcome and the first glimpse of the new design codes, including a dramatic floating staircase, ‘broken glass’ panels and a tremendous carved-glass suspended sculpture.

The Richard Mille story truly unfolds on the second level, where timepieces are displayed at its heart in a central rotunda. Surrounding the browsing area is a series of intimate lounges that provide guests the opportunity to relax, enjoy new encounters, and experience the brand’s warm and intuitive hospitality. On the north façade, the Cinema Room serves as a reception area bathed in abundant sunlight, with the ability to transition into a state-of-the-art movie viewing room complete with a broken glass partition that turns opaque, a surround-sound system, and a full-wall display for films and live event feeds.

The Spaceship Lounge in the boutique’s northwest corner affords guests a panoramic view of Highland Park. This tranquil, meditative space takes its décor inspiration from aerospace and aeronautics, two influential realms for Richard Mille’s creations. The retro-futuristic room has the capability to be fully privatized via large, sliding doors. Two VIP Lounges also transform via sliding partitions, allowing for one large gathering space as needed. The final zone is the boutique’s Bar, a versatile space for sharing a meal, lingering over a game of pool, or honing one’s driving skills on the racecar simulator.

Throughout the new boutique, Richard Mille’s in-house architecture team employs the warm and textural materials so prevalent in the Texas landscape alongside Richard Mille’s long-standing pillars of inspiration. The result is an inviting and interactive space, welcoming to established collectors and new enthusiasts alike.
