CLARET MARGUERITE

Navigator News > Watches + Jewelry

"An undeniably poetic watch driven by a unique sense of playfulness and optical illusions, Marguerite is part of the Margot line, Christophe Claret’s very first ladies’ model,” says Claret. “This creation affirms the brand’s determination to give substance to a full-fledged feminine collection that consists of complications exclusively devoted to women.”

This timepiece features two butterflies in blue, orange, red or green Super-LumiNova that indicate the passing of time. The darker butterfly symbolizes the female and is perched on a daisy petal that whirls every hour. The lighter one, embodying the male spirit, indicates the minutes. The mother of pearl dial has a precious pistil made of rubies, blue sapphires or emeralds.

The Claret Marguerite watch has Arabic numerals at three, six and nine o’clock, and an additional second display dial. One press on the button at two o’clock makes the numbers disappear to reveal the phrase: “Il m’aime passionnément” (He loves me passionately).
