N&J Has a Successful Monaco Yacht Show

This year, we kicked off the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show with meal at the fashionable Beef Bar in Monaco. On September 22, the Monday before the show, 22 captains wined and dined with Northrop & Johnson brokers and staff to start off Monaco with a relaxing dinner among friends.

As the gates of Port Hercules open on Tuesday, September 23, Northrop & Johnson was ready and waiting with our brand new impeccably styled stand, located at QE4 (Quai Des Etats-Unis). The perfect place for brokers and clients to escape from the sun and the show stress on the docks, our whitewashed and immaculately styled stand and lounge was the best place to do business. Outside those walls, Northrop & Johnson had four of our exceptional superyachts for viewing. The magnificent 164-foot Benetti motor yacht AQUILA, the stunning 188-foot Royal Huisman sailing yacht TWIZZLE and the fast, fun and family friendly 160-foot Trinity motor yacht ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM could be found within the show gates. The unique and successful 170-foot Sweedship M/Y PASSION and the timeless 154-foot Perini Navi ANDROMEDA LA DEA were anchored out and accessible by tender.

In fabulous N&J fashion, on Thursday, September 25, we invited our prestigious clients on board the elegant 164-foot motor yacht AQUILA for a soiree under the stars. The sounds of the famed local jazz quartet The Drama Queens floated down the docks as guests swayed to the music, ate exceptional canapés crafted by AQUILA’s creative chef and enjoyed an array of wine, rose and champagne provided by partners Casillero del Diablo, Château d’Esclans and Royal Riviera. Also on hand were our exclusive sponsors Hunton and My Yacht Group and, for guests viewing pleasure, we featured a collection of sparkling jewelry provided by Karpov & Karpova and an impressive timepiece by Arnold & Son. The soriee kept swimming as the stars rose into the night sky — this event truly was the talk of the show.

The show may have wrapped up on September 26, but deals from the Monaco Yacht Show are still in the works. The show was an absolute success for Northrop & Johnson and we look forward to seeing you at our stand and on the quays of Port Hercules in 2015.
