GRETCHEN THOR JOINS NORTHROP & JOHNSON

Gretchen grew up sailing on Lake Ontario and cruising the Thousand Islands in the summers. She graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Advertising Photography. In 2007, Gretchen moved to Newport for a job with a local nautical photographer Billy Black; this new role combined her two passions of photography and sailing. After four years, Gretchen transitioned into a position with Hunt Yachts, a boatbuilding company in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where she assisted both the sales and marketing departments and organized trade shows.  

Gretchen is excited to be part of the Northrop & Johnson team and brings with her knowledge in visual communications, sales support and passion for fun on the water.
