Northrop & Johnson had an excellent presence at the show, displaying six yachts from its charter fleet; these included the 164-foot Trinity superyacht AMARULA SUN, the 164-foot Delta superyacht VICTORIA DEL MAR, the 163-foot Christensen motor yacht CASINO ROYALE, the 154-foot Delta motor yacht USHER, the 147-foot Feadship motor yacht HARLE and the 130-foot Westport motor yacht APHRODITE.

The captains and crew of Northrop & Johnson’s charter yachts, along with charter managers Shawn Laird and Amy Wachmann, hosted daily breakfast and lunches on board the Northrop & Johnson yachts for top industry brokers to display the yachts and offer a taste of the five-star service the crews provide during charters.

On December 6, HARLE and USHER participated in the Nelson’s Dockyard Marina Night. Motor yacht USHER welcomed guests on board to experience a “Hot Havana Night” Cuban theme and motor yacht HARLE showcased a “Heaven vs. Hell” theme on board.

On December 8, Northrop & Johnson along with ISS GMT Global Marine Travel, hosted a Captain’s Dinner at Sun Ra located in Falmouth. More than 30 captains joined Northrop & Johnson’s elite charter brokers, charter managers and crew services specialists and the ISS GMT team to enjoy a relaxing night of socializing and a handpicked menu of local favorites.

Northrop & Johnson Charter Broker Lies Sol, based in Asia, was on the panel at the December 9 informative hour, discussing charter in Southeast Asia. This area is about three times the size of the Mediterranean and offers fantastic and varied cruising grounds and exotic cultures. The talk focused on Thailand, which has year-round cruising, wonderful snorkeling and diving, delicious food and many luxury facilities, resorts and spas and cultural activities ashore.

Overall the 2015 Antigua Charter Yacht Show was a great success for Northrop & Johnson, setting the tone for a busy 2015-2016 winter charter season in the Caribbean.
