Inspired by the film “The Tree Lover,” Treehotel was built to take you back to your roots. Allow the serenity of this secluded luxury hotel to reinvigorate your senses as you immerse yourself in nature. Built by a collection of leading Scandinavian architects, all rooms at Treehotel are suspended at least four, if not six, meters off the ground — each room provides exceptional views.

But don’t be fooled, these aren’t the tree houses of your youth. Each room has a modern, ultra-luxury style that beautifully melds together with the quiet of the forest to provide ultimate relaxation. Choose between The Cabin, The UFO, The Mirrorcube, The Bluecone, The Bird’s Nest and the Dragonfly.

Upon arrival, you will check in at Britta’s Pensionat. You will then be lead on a five-minute walk to the rooms of Treehotel. Spend your days enjoying outdoor pursuits, including zip lining, mountain biking, white water paddle adventures, sea kayaking on the Lule River, hiking, taking pine-tree forest walks, horseback riding and fishing. Other experiences include an overnight Arctic Circle tour, Northern Light photography and relaxing in the Tree Sauna.

Whether you spend your Treehotel holiday out among nature or simply taking in the views from your room, you certainly will leave refreshed, recharged and possibly feeling like a kid again.
