Patina Maldives, Fari Islands, Maldives

A welcome addition to the Maldives North Malé Atoll, Patina Maldives is just a 45-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport and a great location to spend a few nights ashore before embarking on a superyacht charter through the Indian Ocean archipelago. The sleek hotel features 90 Beach and Overwater villas with pools, outdoor tubs or decks to soak up the Maldivian lifestyle. The Fari Marina Village is the hub of the island, with restaurants, bars and boutiques, while the Village has further amenities. The resort is committed to sustainability and relies on solar power, is single-use plastic-free and follows a zero-waste philosophy.

Rosewood Le Guanahani, St Barths

The iconic island destination of St Barths is delighted to welcome back the beloved Le Guanahani after a four-year renovation. First opened in 1986, Le Guanahani reopens reimagined but in keeping with its unique spirit under the Rosewood umbrella. Tucked away on the northeast coast overlooking Marigot Bay, the property sits on 18 acres and is enveloped by two beaches – the calmer Marechal Beach and Grand Cul de Sac. With a laidback vibe, each of the 66 cottages have been designed to reflect the distinctive history, heritage and style of the French Caribbean, while embracing Rosewoods commitment to the environment and the colors of the island.

Baja Club, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Set along a lively esplanade of the Mexican beachside town of La Paz, the Baja Club is the perfect base for a few nights ashore before embarking on a cruise through the Sea of Cortez. The first boutique-style property of its kind in the area, the Spanish colonial-style villa features a sleek-white exterior, while at its center is a cobbled courtyard and restaurant that leads to two wings housing the 32 guest rooms – all of which have their own private outdoor patios. An outdoor pool, spa, library and rooftop bar buzz with chic guests from Mexico City and beyond.

Saba Rock, British Virgin Islands 

Technically, the iconic island resort Saba Rock re-opened in 2021, but with the ever-changing travel restrictions, this all-new yachting haven didnt receive the attention it deserves. Located in the center of all the action within the North Sound of the British Virgin Islands, Saba Rock has been rebuilt with a contemporary design aesthetic and a fresh take on the nautical lifestyle to offer an elevated experience. With just nine guest rooms, an open-air restaurant, sunset bar, spa and a full-service marina, Saba Rock has been a haven for yachties for more than 50 years and will no doubt continue to remain so for years to come.

The St. Regis Bermuda Resort, Bermuda

Overlooking St. Catherines Beach and the centuries-old Fort St. Catherine, the recently opened St. Regis Bermuda Resort is a welcome addition to the famed island. Away from the bustling waterfront of Hamilton, the hotel has an upscale yet relaxed vibe with just 120 rooms and suites. The stretch of soft-sand beach is famed for its calm waters, while an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf course is located opposite.
