A tradition in watchmaking, Arnold & Son has a sophisticated history of more than 250 years of exquisite craftsmanship and design. Renown as the father of modern marine timekeeping, Arnold & Son offers technical superiority, proven with its chronometers, which were developed in the 18th century to adequately determine longitude at sea. This innovation quickly established Arnold & Son as the official watchmaker of the Royal Navy, among other impressive clients. Arnold & Son timepieces not only are exceptionally precise, but also are exquisitely designed — some of the timepieces are featured in prominent museums, such as London’s British Museum. John Arnold and his son Roger dedicated themselves to a quest for absolute precision; Arnold & Son continues this mission today. The venture gives Arnold & Son an opportunity to draw on its deep-rooted maritime past.

Now partnered with Northrop & Johnson, Arnold & Son has a golden opportunity to participate in major yachting events and superyacht shows. These include the Miami Yacht & Brokerage show in February, the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March, the Cannes and Monaco Boat Shows in September and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November. Additionally, Arnold & Son will be present at all of Northrop & Johnson's outside industry luxury events, including Art Basel Miami Beach in December. “Our presence at these events will give us direct access to an important customer group. We’ll be able to showcase our timepieces through private previews in a glamorous environment. Magazines, social networks and virtual communities will also be part of the partnership, keeping followers up to speed on the latest developments in our joint activities,” says Fabien Dutriaux of Arnold & Son.
