SAILING YACHT ADELAAR NOW AVAILABLE FOR CHARTER

Posted February 15, 2019 in Charter by Janine St.Denis

Built in 1902 by Stadskanaal Zaandam, ADELAAR is an outstanding classic Dutch schooner with an exciting history of world cruising; throughout her life she has been a cargo ship, a war supply vessel and a championship racer, winning the New Zealand Tall Ship Race in 1988. In fact, her history is so fascinating that the yacht’s early ship log is on display at the Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum in Groningen, Netherlands.

The sailing yacht is in magnificent condition thanks to her constant upkeep and a four-year refit from 2008 to 2012 that brought her up to modern standards with exquisite styling.

ADELAAR’s interior is sophisticated and elegant with rich teak wood paneling, high ceilings and Persian carpets throughout.  Accommodating eight guests, ADELAAR showcases four nicely appointed staterooms that include a full-beam master stateroom with a private office, two VIP staterooms and a double stateroom. Each stateroom is complete with its own en-suite bath and state-of-the-art entertainment center.

While aboard, ADELAAR’s captain of twenty years and crew of nine will ensure an extraordinary experience is had by all.

Providing boutique-style sailing and diving, ADELAAR charters in Indonesia year around for $31,675 all inclusive.
