DA VINCI NAMED FINALIST FOR 2018 BI DESIGN & INNOVATION AWARDS

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 28 in Kitzbühel, Austria. This event, previously called The ShowBoats Design Awards, is offering a new program in 2018. Not only will it recognize naval architecture and styling, but it also will award excellence in innovation and engineering. As technology advances, builders and designers are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in terms of styling and design. Categories include, Best Exterior Styling, Motor Yachts; Best Exterior Styling, Sailing Yachts; Best Exterior Interior, Motor Yachts; Best Exterior Interior, Sailing Yachts; Best Lighting Design, Best Lifestyle Feature Design; Best General Arrangement and Deck Design; Best Naval Architecture: Displacement Motor Yachts; Best Naval Architecture: Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts; Best Naval Architecture: Sailing Yachts; Best New Production Yacht Design; Best Ecological Design and Operation Innovation Award; and Best Tender Design. The Young Designer of the Year also will be announced.
