Seventy Reasons To Celebrate

Northrop & Johnson boasted steady sales throughout 2014, especially in the third and fourth quarters of the year. This achievement hinges on a number of factors, including Northrop & Johnson’s status as the top U.S. — headquartered brokerage and the opening of a new Los Angeles office in 2014, which solidified this reputed position. Additionally, Northrop & Johnson focused a great deal of energy into new marketing and technology campaigns, establishing the company as an industry leader.

“In 2015, we expect to see the market continuing to gain strength,” said Chief Operating Officer Daniel Ziriakus. “Thanks to Northrop & Johnson’s investments in marketing, brokers and new offices, we are poised to see substantial growth, especially in Europe. Northrop & Johnson is operating the best systems in the yachting industry, allowing our brokers global access to do their jobs anywhere from their phones or tablets. Our advancements in technology also afford us the ability to control overheads that traditionally would stagnant growth, thus allowing us to invest more in our brokers, support staff and marketing efforts.”

Ultimately, Northrop & Johnson’s success in 2014 comes down to the hard work and tenacity of its people. Each yacht sold this year is evidence of the dedication of Northrop & Johnson’s brokers, management and staff. Within the first three months of 2014, Northrop & Johnson successfully sold 18 yachts and also signed a deal with Royal Huisman for the sale of the 141-foot S/Y SEA EAGLE. Summer 2014 proved prosperous with the sales of M/Y STELLAR, M/Y OHANA, M/Y CHARADE and M/Y LADY SHEILA, among others. In the culminating months of 2014 Northrop & Johnson sold Perini Navi’s 210-foot FELICITA WEST and the environmentally savvy 129-foot eco-explorer yacht SAFIRA.

Looking forward, in 2015 Northrop & Johnson intends to build upon this year’s success and continue to move onward and upward. There are many exciting plans already in the works for the New Year, including a new office in the Mediterranean hub Antibes, which will bolster Northrop & Johnson’s European influence, among an array of other exciting campaigns.

All of us at Northrop & Johnson wish you the happiest holidays and best wishes for the New Year. Thank you for helping us achieve our goals and being part of our accomplishments during the past year. We look forward to continued collaboration and success in 2015.
