CHARTER & SALES BROKER STEVE ELARIO JOINS N&J

Navigator News > Brokerage + New Build

Steve has enjoyed a 30-year-plus career in the yachting industry. Originally from Newburyport, Massachusetts, Steve made his way to Florida in the early 80s, following his love of life on the water. He then found the yachting industry and jumped in feet first; he started as a deckhand and quickly worked his way up to captain on yachts ranging in size from 80 to 200 feet.

Steve decided it was time for a change and, in 1999, he made the move ashore to begin his career as a charter and sales broker.

Since making that move almost 20 years ago, Steve has enjoyed great success. He chartered worldwide for 17 years. He has cruised some of the world’s most-sought-after destinations and he's always keen to share with clients his personal knowledge of an area. Steve is dedicated to providing his charter clients with once-in-a-lifetime, world-class holidays. Steve also boasts a solid sales record, which includes multiple new build sales, and an international network of clients. Steve is a driven charter and sales broker who enjoys sharing his passion for the industry. His can-do attitude and ample yachting experience will greatly benefit him in his new role at Northrop & Johnson.

“We’re delighted to bring Steve aboard. He’s a seasoned and well-respected charter and sales broker with years of industry expertise,” said Northrop & Johnson COO Daniel Ziriakus. “Steve’s passion for yachting and drive to provide his clients with only the best are ideals that align perfectly with those of Northrop & Johnson. We look forward to continued success with Steve.”
