In 2016, Michael made the move to a land-based career, joining Northrop & Johnson’s Palma office as a sales broker.
In 2001, Michael started out in the yachting industry as a deckhand. He swiftly climbed the ladder, moving up to roles such as engineer and mate. Michael took the captain's position at the helm of his first motor yacht in 2005. He spent the subsequent years working on both charter and private yachts. Michael is a commercially registered captain; he can run yachts up to 500GT.

Michael brings with him extensive industry knowledge, a genuine understanding of the wants and needs of yacht owners and a vast network of contacts. Michael is fluent in English, German and Spanish; he speaks conversational French.
