The 123-foot (37.62m) AXIA is now for sale with Northrop & Johnson Yacht Broker Ann Avery. The sailing yacht is asking $4,490,000.

Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Palmer Johnson and launched in 1990, sailing yacht AXIA has an impressive pedigree, striking design and outstanding performance. As a true blue- water, world cruiser, this yacht offers the ideal platform and comfort for those wishing to sail far afield or host guests locally. The yacht is a vision on the water with her grace and elegance, providing a comfortable sea kindly motion.

AXIA has been exceptionally maintained throughout her lifespan and has received numerous refits. The sailing yacht is a modern classic showcasing classic touches and modern trends such as a raised salon, excellent deck space, and fluid navigation throughout the interior and deck.

The luxury sailing yacht’s interior was designed by the renowned interior designer John Munford. AXIA’s interior is classic and elegant featuring rich honey-colored teak walls with raised paneling, gold-plated hardware and appointments of subtle granite and marble. Her interior boasts two exceptional areas for entertaining and unwinding. The raised salon provides impressive views from the large windows. This space has formal dining with a teak table with an inlaid compass rose, a full bar and a fireplace with granite hearth. Sailing yacht AXIA welcomes up to eight guests in three charming staterooms. Additionally, this stateroom has an abundance of closet space, including a special shoe closet and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and tub. AXIA also has two identical twin-bed staterooms with en-suite bathrooms.

AXIA’s exterior living space is the perfect extension of her interior spaces. The hard-covered cockpit offers the ideal spot for alfresco dining and relaxing with ample seating at an L-shaped settee and beautiful Italian director chairs. On the large uncovered aft deck there are also two built-in chaise lounges as well as loose furniture which can be moved around as the occasion dictates.
