A MONDOMARINE CELEBRATION

Posted February 15, 2019 in Brokerage & New Build by Janine St.Denis

Cantieri Navali Campanella shipyard was decked out to the nines in beautiful draping, lovely lighting and glowing candles as between 200 and 250 guests joined Mondomarine not only to raise a glass to the launching of its newest SF 40, the first new model represented by Northrop & Johnson to be launched, but also to celebrate the centennial birthday of the prestigious Campanella yard. The air was warm and the hospitality warmer as guests clamored to see the SF 40 touch water before the candles on the 100th birthday cake were lit.

“The yacht looked fantastic,” said Northrop & Johnson Sales Broker Jonathan Browne, who was in attendance as one of Northrop & Johnson’s Mondomarine representatives. “Sometimes these events can be a bit dull, but not when they’re held by Mondomarine. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable…and everyone was dancing.”

There were plenty of reasons to celebrate as the builder gears up to launch a variety of new builds, which started with Monday’s launch of the SF 40. The SF40 is the first of Mondomarine’s new SF line. This yacht measures in at 42.33 meters in length, has five luxurious staterooms, a light alloy hull and superstructure, four impressive decks and a thoroughly modern aesthetic. Future launches include the M50, M50S, M50GTO, M40, M60S, SF60 and so on.
