Sunreef ULTIMA 88 Introduces a New Direction in Performance Multihulls
Sunreef Yachts has unveiled the ULTIMA 88, a new model that reflects a shift in how performance, design and onboard living are approached within the luxury multihull segment. Positioned within the shipyard’s ULTIMA range, the yacht introduces a concept that blends characteristics traditionally associated with both monohull and catamaran platforms.
The ULTIMA 88 is designed to deliver a balance between speed, efficiency and comfort. Available with either high-performance power propulsion or a hybrid configuration, the yacht supports quieter, more energy-conscious cruising while maintaining strong performance capabilities. Its architecture combines the agility typically seen in monohulls with the stability, space and shallow draft of a multihull, pointing to a broader evolution in modern yacht design.

From a technical perspective, the yacht features aerodynamic lines and optimized hull geometry aimed at improving efficiency and handling. These elements contribute to smoother maneuverability and greater accessibility, allowing the vessel to navigate both marinas and more remote anchorages with ease.
At anchor, the design places emphasis on connectivity with the surrounding environment. Opening bulwarks and a spacious aft garage create a walkaround beach club area, forming a continuous Ocean Lounge that extends the usable living space directly to the water. This layout reflects a growing focus on flexible outdoor living and multifunctional spaces in contemporary yacht design.
Interior arrangements further reinforce this approach, with a full-beam master suite, guest cabins and open-plan social areas designed to maximize light, space and flow. Features such as a private sauna and expansive glazing contribute to a residential-style atmosphere, aligning with wider industry trends that prioritize comfort and livability alongside performance.

The introduction of the ULTIMA 88 highlights an ongoing transformation in the luxury yachting sector, where hybrid performance, spatial efficiency and lifestyle-driven design are becoming increasingly central. With this model, Sunreef Yachts continues to explore new directions in multihull development, responding to changing expectations among modern yacht owners.
