N&J Pickleball Tournament 2025: A Smash Hit on the Courts

On Friday, October 17, the Northrop & Johnson team hosted the highly anticipated 2025 N&J Pickleball Tournament at The Fort Pickleball Club in Fort Lauderdale. From 2 to 6 p.m., more than 65 captains, senior crew, brokers, sponsors, and team members traded deck shoes for court shoes and gathered for an afternoon of friendly competition, camaraderie, and plenty of laughs.

The day was filled with energy, excitement and anticipation of some serious pickleball action. Afficianado Coffee kept players cool and focused with refreshing cold brews, while Piper & Sky showcased their beautiful handbags — and surprised the winners with elegant gifts. MIA Dynamics added an adventurous edge by displaying their powerful ATVs, while MTN impressed attendees with their cutting-edge satellite technology. To top it all off, Macallan elevated the event’s spirit of celebration by gifting each champion a bottle of their exceptional whiskey — the perfect prize for a well-fought victory.

After two hours of lively gameplay across the courts, the scores were tallied and the top four competitors advanced to the championship round. In an intense final match that kept spectators cheering from the sidelines, Captains John and Chris emerged victorious, taking home the N&J Cup and well-deserved bragging rights.

As the sun began to set over Fort Lauderdale, players and guests gathered to celebrate their wins — and near misses — over delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great conversation. The relaxed, upbeat atmosphere captured exactly what makes the N&J community so special: teamwork, connection, and a love for a little friendly competition.
