Summary
Female Sous chef position - 55m - Motor yacht
Description
We are seeking a personable, happy/calm, female Sous Chef for a 55m M/Y. Vessel is private with light
charter.
Excellent Head Chef to work with and learn from.
Ideal candidate will have 6 -12 months in the industry; however, we are open to an entry level candidate with a strong restaurant background and excellent references.
MUST be extremely clean and organized in the galley. Ability to work on your own and be a self-starter.
Pastry and baking experience is beneficial or you have the desire to learn and develop your skills in that area.
Must be able to prepare healthy, delicious crew meals (no budget) for a crew of 12-14. Assist Head Chef with guest meals as needed.
Great crew that are all active and into fitness, water sports and doing fun activities together. Great schedule to have a life outside of work when not on guest trips.
Vessel will be local to South Florida until December and then tentatively to Costa Rica.
B1/B2 visa or US passport. STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene, Culinary degree (preferably).
Start date~ July 24th in South Florida
Salary~ $6000 with a Christmas bonus.
Leave is 45 days per year.
