Description
CHEF | 47M NEW BUILD | PRIVATE/CHARTER
We are recruiting for an experienced Yacht Chef to join a brand new 47m private/charter yacht.
The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary training, solid yacht experience, and the confidence to comfortably prepare food for up to 12 guests and 11 crew.
This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who can help set up a brand new galley from scratch, including purchasing, stocking, organization, systems, provisioning, and creating a smooth galley operation from the beginning.
The owners are American, with a preference for Mediterranean cuisine, healthy food, and a variety of international cuisines. We are looking for someone creative, organized, calm under pressure, and able to produce beautiful, high-quality food for both guests and crew.
Requirements / Ideal Experience:
• Extensive culinary training - Please add photos of menu.
• Previous yacht chef experience essential.
• Confident cooking for 12 guests and 11 crew.
• Able to help stock and organize a brand new galley.
• Strong provisioning, menu planning, and galley management skills.
• Excellent communication with the Chief Stew and service team.
• Comfortable preparing Mediterranean, healthy, and varied international cuisine.
• Team player and willing to help out where needed.
• Professional, organized, clean, and positive.
• Open to male and female candidates.
Must be comfortable provisioning in the Med, USA, Caribbean, and Bahamas. Someone adaptable and easygoing. Charter experience is a plus as this boat will be chartering.
This role would suit a chef who is excited to be involved in a new program from the very beginning and help create a strong culinary standard onboard.
Salary: DOE.
Itinerary: Dual Season - Med/Caribbean
Yacht: 47m Private/Charter
Leave: 45 - open to discuss rotation for the right person.
