The 80-foot (24.38m) custom-built luxury expedition yacht SINDBAD was originally launched in 1962 as an ice-class trawler. Thanks to consistent maintenance, upgrades, and a multitude of refits throughout her life, SINDBAD is now an exceptional expedition motor yacht that is ready to take her guests anywhere in the world. Most recently, SINDBAD was refitted in 2018 by Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, Maine. This refit included extensive steelwork to her hull, new caprails, and the replacement of almost every piece of equipment in the yacht’s engine room, which was subsequently sandblasted and repainted, and new wiring throughout.

The interior spaces of SINDBAD are welcoming and comfortable. These traditionally styled spaces showcase classic teak wood and teak finishes throughout. Her main salon has beautiful, elevated skylights that bring in natural light. She offers a booth-style dining area where guests can enjoy meals indoors. The yacht’s galley is located on the main deck forward of the main salon.

Luxury expedition yacht SINDBAD welcomes seven guests in three cabins. Her owner’s cabin is located forward on the lower deck. It offers en-suite facilities. Two additional guest staterooms are located on the lower deck- one forward of the owner’s cabin and one located aft- both with en-suites. The fourth additional cabin is accessed from the foredeck.

The deck spaces of SINDBAD are perfectly suited for world exploration. Her main deck aft features wrap-around seating and dining area with a wet bar. She has a helm located on her upper deck and the foredeck is where the tender and other equipment are stored.

SINDBAD was originally designed by Romsdal Shipbuilders and built by A. Eidsvik Skipsbyggeri yard in Norway. SINDBAD is comfortable to cruise aboard and easy to maneuver thanks to her stabilizers and 360-degree bow thruster. The yacht had up until recently been owned by the same family for more than 30 years, providing them with years of incredible memories. This expedition yacht is ready for new adventures with her next owner.
