GEMBERY is a 90' (27.43m) Palmer Johnson Vripack Doggersbank delivered in 1992, built in aluminum with a displacement hull for long-range offshore cruising. Her 3,000-plus-nautical-mile range supports extended passages at a 10-knot cruising speed and 12-knot top speed. NAIAD stabilizers are part of her cruising setup for comfort at anchor and underway.
More than $2.3 million was invested in a 2026 refit, addressing the yacht across her exterior, interior and onboard systems. Her exterior was refreshed with new hull and topsides paint, new teak decks, new nonskid decking throughout the main deck and flybridge, and new bottom paint. Technical work included replacement of the air-conditioning and chiller systems, along with new electronics at the lower and upper helms, a new VHF, a new Spotzero water purification system and a Seaxchange watermaker. The refit also introduced LED lighting throughout the yacht and new TVs.
Inside, GEMBERY accommodates eight guests across three cabins, supported by accommodations for three crew. Her interior has a classic feel, with Cherry woodwork and teak-and-holly flooring, freshly re-varnished, complemented by new carpeting and brand-new LED lighting. The salon combines dining and lounge areas, with a dining table positioned aft to port and a large sectional sofa farther forward. Opposite the seating is a television that retracts flush into the cabinetry, with Vitrifrigo refrigeration, a wine cooler and an ice maker incorporated below.
The galley is located forward of the salon and includes Miele appliances, high-gloss teak-and-holly flooring and an updated settee to starboard. Continuing forward is the lower helm, while the lower deck arrangement separates the guest cabins aft from the crew quarters, crew mess and laundry area forward. The interior design is by Cindi Mason.
Her exterior retains the classic Doggersbank styling, with exterior design by Dick Boon. The aft deck is arranged for dining and finished with teak, while the flybridge provides a larger outdoor area for both operating the yacht and spending time outside. It includes a tender crane, symmetrical benches to port and starboard, a covered L-shaped seating area with a dining table and an upper helm with three helm chairs. A separate fishing cockpit with dedicated tackle storage adds a practical space at the stern.
