Built in 2002 by Yachting Developments, ADJUTOR can be described as a performance world cruiser with timeless style and impressive capabilities. Bill Langan designed her to fulfill a brief for a world voyaging performance sailing yacht, easily handled by three. ADJUTOR boasts a carbon four-spreader mast by Southern Spars, a Park Avenue boom, hydraulic winches, a Harken hydraulic furling headsail and a self-tracking staysail. Since her initial delivery, the yacht has been very well maintained, benefitting from multiple refits through the years. Between 2018 and 2021, she received new sails, new rod rigging, a new tender and motor and plenty of electronic upgrades.
ADJUTOR comfortably accommodates five guests in two well-appointed cabins. The full-beam master stateroom is aft of the pilothouse and features a large centerline queen-size berth with a custom headboard. The cabin also has a dedicated desk/vanity space and a custom articulating lounge chair for added convenience. Plenty of storage space can be found with built-in shelves and hanging lockers. The guest stateroom is spacious and comprises twin berths with an additional Pullman. This versatile layout is excellent for an owner seeking a yacht that can accommodate a family or small children. The full-beam crew quarters for two crewmembers, or two additional guests, features ample storage, a double berth and a writing desk.
ADJUTOR’s center cockpit features full navigation and inside the wheelhouse is full communication and control station with a Stidd helm seat, settee, wet locker and 360-degree visibility. Forward of the pilothouse is the main salon with a custom couch and a custom lounge chair that articulates via hydraulic rams to adjust to any angle of heel for level seating while the yacht is underway and a dining table made of varnished teak with custom ebony detailing. The owner and their guests will find this space warm, welcoming and the ideal spot to unwind after a day on the water. ADJUTOR’s full-width U-shaped galley is fully-equipped to create meals onboard comfortably. The dinette can also be converted to a berth to accommodate additional crew.
The yacht’s exterior features a cored composite hull and deck of E-glass and epoxy with Divinycell core and carbon reinforcements, further contributing to her seaworthy build. ADJUTOR is the ideal yacht for an owner looking for a well-proven performance world cruiser that will simultaneously allow them to live comfortably in the offshore environment. All her design and construction efforts were put forward to enhance the yacht’s comfort, performance and ease of handling.
