When SYCARA V was first commissioned, the intention was to create a truly unique and remarkable yacht. When she launched in 2010, she exceeded all expectations. Built by the Nobiskrug shipyard in Germany, she is a 223.7-foot (68.16m) steel-hulled displacement yacht with an impressive range of 9,800 nautical miles when cruising at 10 knots. Performance was always a priority and, as such, she cruises comfortably at 14.5 knots. Her twin Caterpillar 3516 engines, each of 2,130hp, push her to a maximum speed of 17 knots. Stylish and modern, she is a truly commanding presence on the waves.
SYCARA V was completely repainted in 2017 and has been regularly maintained to meet the needs of the most discerning charterer.
This impressive vessel is an award-winning yacht. In 2011, following her launch, she won Best Displacement Motor Yacht in her class at the World Superyacht Awards. She retains her high standards and remains a highly popular charter yacht to this day. Her 12 guests are welcomed into six en-suite staterooms. There are five king-sized staterooms and one single cabin with a Pullman berth. A guest elevator connects the accommodation to the sundeck for ultimate convenience. Her public guests areas include a large main salon and dining salon and a library/lounge with home-entertainment system.
Out on deck, SYCARA V excels. Her sundeck has an air-conditioned gym with a massage room for indulgent treatments following a workout. Or guests can take a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi. She also has many well-designed dining and lounging areas on deck so guests have every venue they need for relaxing, entertaining and socializing. Her crew of 16 are devoted to providing the finest service. This extends from gourmet meals to creative itineraries ensuring a perfect balance of indulgence on deck and trips ashore to explore each destination.
