Exuding classic elegance, the 150' (45.5m) SOMETHING COOL is an understated yet luxurious base from which to explore the stunning islands of the Caribbean and the glamorous ports of the Western Mediterranean. Designed, built and launched in 1981 by the celebrated Italian CRN Ancona shipyard, SOMETHING COOL is set to complete a comprehensive refit in 2023 to further enhance her timeless exteriors and traditional interior styling. With incredible decks and spacious interiors for dining, relaxing and socializing, SOMETHING COOL is set to live up to her name when it comes to amazing charter vacations.
Interiors on SOMETHING COOL are also the work of CRN Ancona and are stylishly contemporary with a strong nod to the traditional. The warm wood paneling is offset by cream soft furnishings and nautical touches of bright red, navy blue and gold in the artwork and other decorative accents. The main salon is a light-filled space with plush cream sofas in a conversational arrangement around a wooden coffee table. Further forward is the formal dining table which can be closed off from the lounge with sliding doors for more intimate occasions. After dinner, the sky lounge is a great place to socialize with friends or take in some friendly competition at the card table sipping night caps from the bar.
Accommodations on SOMETHING COOL are spacious and luxurious with seven staterooms providing tranquil overnight havens for her 12 guests. Her master stateroom which is located on the main deck showcases a king-size bed, dressing room, lounge area and generous ensuite facilities. On the lower deck, there is a VIP stateroom with sitting area and sofa, a double guest cabin, three twin cabins—one with an extra Pullman bunk, and one smaller triple cabin ideal for children sharing or staff. All have beautiful ensuite shower rooms and access to SOMETHING COOL’s impressive entertainment system.
Outside, SOMETHING COOL’s charms continue with well-appointed alfresco dining on the main aft deck with a teak table large enough to seat her full complement of guests. The upper deck is for relaxing in the sun or under starry night skies while enjoying cocktails from the bar and the passing vistas. During the day and once the tenders and toys are launched, there’s plenty of space for sun loungers and uninterrupted bronzing with shade provided by umbrellas when required.
With a full toy box and two tenders, there’s plenty to keep guests entertained while exploring the crystal waters of her cruising grounds. There are SeaDoo Spark jet skis, towable toys, water skis, paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy and well as SeaBobs and a snorkeling kit to take the adventures under the waves.
Orchestrating it all is SOMETHING COOL’s friendly and enthusiastic crew of 10 who ensure seamless service and attention to detail for a truly exception charter vacation.
